032 Melon bread

On the book about bread making, I found a recipe for a melon bread, a kind of Japanese sweet bread. Although I had never baked it before even in Japan, I tried to bake one.

英語で書かれたパン作りの本に「日本のメロンパン」という題目のレシピを発見。早速、作ることに。日本でも作ったことは無かったが…、以外にシンプル。

The result was…, the bread turned out to be hard; the ones sold in Japan are softer. Ohps!

果たして味は…、というよりも食感が…、固い。日本で売られている市販のメロンパンよりも遥かに固い食感になってしまった。

I’ll try it again someday…
