003 Road to the east coast

The 6 hours of bus ride to the east coast from Auckland.

オークランドから東海岸への6時間のバスの旅。

The views from the bus were so remarkable that I felt as if I were in an amusement park.

窓から見る光景が新鮮で、雄大で…、面白すぎて、遊園地のアトラクションに乗っている感覚に陥ったほど…。

Auckland is the largest city in NZ, though there was no traffic jam to get out of the city and there was farm land within 10 minutes driving. The road was flat and straight at the beginning, but the 2^nd half was more hilly and it started raining. 

「ニュージーランド最大の都市」と言われるオークランド。渋滞に見舞われることなく都市を抜け、10分たらずで牧場や畑の光景に出くわした。平坦で直線な道のりかと思いきや、後半は山あり、谷ありな道のり。山を越えている途中から激しい雨が降ってきた。

Afterwards, I arrived at one town on the east coast.

そうして辿り着いたのは北島の東海岸にある小さな街。
