Every Wednesday, there is an auction in the town. The auction is on what were left at the houses where owners passed away. There are all sorts of things such as furniture and electric devices that are sold often cheaper than 2nd hand stores.
街では毎週水曜日、亡くなった方の物品（遺品？）の競り市が催される。ベッドやタンスといった家具、電話やパソコンといった電気機器、鍋や食器の台所用品…。一般の中古屋よりも比較的安価で取引される。
It is my 1st time to find such an auction. Is this popular in other place in the world as well?
正直、この類の競り市は初めてである。果たしてこの類の競り市は珍しいのだろうか？
ちなみに…、競りの流れの概要
１）各地から遺品を集めてくる
２）月曜日と火曜日に一般に公開される（電気機器が機能するかの確認も可能）
３）水曜日に競り開催（買取人は卸値の1割を運営者に支払う）
