085 Smiling at Cows & Claves

Since the spring has come, there have been more cows with calves. When I pass by them by bike, I look at them and so do they at me. I do smile at them, but do they, too?

春になってから、以前以上に仔牛を連れた母牛を見かけるようになった。自転車で通り過ぎる際、ジーっと眺める私をジーっと眺め返す牛たち。笑いかける私に笑い返してもくれているのかな？
