288 Anzac Day

My first time to attend the Anzac Day dawn service. It is the day to honor the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps at Gallipoli during World War I. I was amazed by the number of people who attended the service although it has been almost 100 years since the WWI and the service itself started from 6am.

初めて出席したAnzac Day dawn service。第一次世界大戦中、Gallipoliで戦ったAustraliaとNew Zealandの戦士を讃える日、Anzac Day。戦後約100年が経とうとしているだけではなく、式典自体、早朝6時から始まったというのに…、大勢の人が出席していました。
